About NXplorers Training Programme

The evolving industrial landscape is changing the way, leaders, scientists and engineers work. Professionals, organizations and leaders in all industries, not just energy, need to be ready to meet the demands of a changing world. We need people equipped with the skills to navigate complex problems in a new way – to see the big picture, identify connections, recognize different perspectives and find new ways of doing things.  As such, the nature and mix of skills that young people need to remain relevant today, and in the future, is changing. Complex problem-solving, critical thinking and creativity are becoming increasingly important and are cited by employers amongst the top skills needed in the future. These are examples of ‘higher level’ skills that tend to underpin people’s ability to adapt to future demands. The NXplorers training programme has been developed by Shell to give young people a chance to develop a transformational skillset and new way of thinking. In a highly interactive and collaborative workshop over 2 days, you will learn how to apply NXplorers methodology and NX tools to develop your complex problem-solving, systems thinking, scenario planning and change management skills.
