Italy Postgraduate Scholarships Program |

This program will support accomplished Emirati youth to complete two-year MA or MSc graduate programs in Italy. The scholarship program will support the studies at selected universities based on their academic excellence and their offering of selected majors relevant to the UAE's growth strategy.
The 2009/2010 opportunities are available at the following institutions:
- Bocconi School of Management in Milan
- Politecnico di Milano
- Luiss Guido Carli Business School in Rome
Study programs available to the selected scholars will include Masters in Tourism Management, Health Care Management and Arts and Culture Management-- and Masters of Science in such fields as architecture; building, civil, material and mechanical engineering; urban planning and environmental engineering.
Award
The Emirates Foundation Fellowship will cover some or all of the following:
- Tuition fees for the university program and the Intensive Italian program
- Book purchase stipend
- Personal allowance of 1500 Euro/month to cover living, personal and in-country travel expenses for the full duration of the program (paid on a monthly basis)
- Annual round-trip economy airfares between the UAE and Italy, one for travel at the beginning and end of the program and one during the program.
- Health insurance fees when not covered by university.
The award will cover only the approved items listed above during the prescribed time line. Any extensions or breaks in study must be requested in writing and approved by the Emirates Foundation.
Scholarships are subject to adherence to an attendance policy and satisfactory academic performance. Monthly reports from the University will be monitored and scholarships may be terminated immediately for breach of attendance policy, academic performance, or fellowship program rules.
Extra allowances will not be provided for married persons or those with dependents
Other Funding
Candidates may receive other forms of scholarship payment while on the program but the monthly stipend from the EF will be reduced accordingly. .
Candidates are encouraged to secure other sources of personal financing for extra cost associated with social events and travel while in Italy.
